On February 12, 2014, Vistaprint premiered its first product fair in the Winterthur Design and Technology Center (Switzerland). The brainchild of Vistaprint’s Chief Executive Officer and founder, Robert Keane, and Chief Manufacturing Officer, Hauke Hansen, the fair allowed Vistaprint employees from the manufacturing, marketing and technology teams to view new products and samples. They voted on their favorite products, with an eye toward best business practices and getting a good read on the emotional reaction of Vistaprint’s clientele.
After the product fair, a number of teams gathered in a multi-disciplinary meeting to discuss increasing Vistaprint’s efficiency and quality and also how to reduce costs. Such interactions allow Vistaprint team members to challenge their own abilities and to offer customers excellent products which meet their various and changing needs. The event helped team-building and inspired creativity and a forward-looking enthusiasm as the company strives for manufacturing and technological excellence and an expansion of Vistaprint’s portfolio.
Vistaprint offers a wide range of print-related products to customers all over the world. Well-known for its quickly produced, quality business cards, banners, birth and wedding announcements, Vistaprint t-shirts and many other items, the company concentrates on fulfilling the needs of a diverse customer base. In addition, Vistaprint wants to expand and improve its offerings of fresh and innovative products that can change along with the desires of the global consumer.
Hopefully the company know for its free business cards will continue with the new tradition and host another Vistaprint product fair in the near future.
