Twitter launches T Shirt Designs

According to a recent release on Pocket-Lint.com, Twitter will offer the most popular Tweets from it’s social blogging site as t-shirt designs through a partnership with Threadless. Anyone can submit a Tweet and anyone can vote on the submitted Tweets. The selected Tweet winner will get $500 and $140 for submitting someone else’s.

Four t-shirts have been produced so far including “I’m huge on Twitter”, “In space, no one can hear you tweet”, “140 is the new 420”, and “The messaging system we didn’t know we needed until we had it”. A little boring but should pick up once more submissions are made. The page for voting and submission of Tweets is http://twitter.threadless.com/. There seems to be an endless number of Tweets to vote on once you login with your Twitter account.

Pretty good deal. But those T-Shirts they already made don’t sound that interesting to buy.

  • Very cool. Now we just need to get people out there that are expert designers to put together some kind of cool contest. I’ll have my crew put some designs together for print and see if we can get some people excited about a contest.

    Thanks!

  • you can print them off on special paper to make “iron-ons”. You can buy the paper at many craft stores. After you get the images on the paper, you just take a hot iron and iron the images on. Be sure to read the instructions in the paper package to make sure what temprature your iron should be, and also sometimes when you iron on a design,
